Lensing Building Specialties began in 1948 as a wholesale distributor of specialty building materials to lumber yards and home centers in the rural areas outside of Evansville. Since then, we’ve expanded our geographic reach and now distribute products to home centers all across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Recognizing an opportunity to serve local residents in our hometown, Lensing opened one of Evansville’s first specialty building products showrooms in 1986. Today, Lensing Home Showroom is the community’s go-to retail store for specialty building products, cabinet and closet design services and exterior product installation services. We’re proud to be a local, family-owned business serving our friends and neighbors.

In agreement with our retail detailers, we only sell to contractors and homeowners in the Evansville metro area. For requests outside our immediate retail market, we can refer you to the appropriate home center near you.
